PLANNING BCr�RD MEETING. <br />Lexington,Mass. <br />July 31, 1928. <br />Present; Messrs. Emery, Duffy, Cutler, Milne and <br />Cosgrove. <br />The Board appeared before the Selectmen <br />relative to the application of Prendergast Bros. <br />for a filling station at corner of Fottler Avenue <br />and Massachusetts Ave., Fast Lexington. The sentiment <br />was voiced that the Prendergast proposal to erect <br />stores if the filling station permit was not granted <br />was a threat. The Planning Board was generally <br />opposed to the granting of filling station permit <br />believing that the stores would not be erected. <br />The promotors of the Star Realty Develop- <br />ment near the Arlington line on Massachusetts Avenue <br />presented nothing further and the Town Engineer had <br />made little progress with them. <br />The uncompleted business of the committee <br />was reviewed and it was decided to push particularly <br />the matter of building lines on Massachusetts Avenue, <br />East Lexington. <br />W.
