I I <br />PLANNING HOARD MEETING <br />October 7, 1927 <br />Present Meeers, Emery, Duffy, Glynn, Cutler & Milne <br />Engineer Cosgrove in attendance. <br />1. There was discussion of the Bacon property, Maple 8t., <br />and Mr. Cosgrove reported that Mr. Hickerson was on the way to <br />a control of the property which would enable the land to be <br />developed in accordance with the suggested plan. <br />2. A letter to the selectmen in reply to their request for <br />a statement of policy on variations or exceptions from the <br />Zoning Law was formulated, and ordered sent. <br />3. petition of T. P. 1halen for business district at Bowker <br />St. and Mass. Ave. was received and discussed. Hearing was not <br />for October 28, 1937. <br />4. There was discussion of the Vino Brook drainage and <br />development scheme, and 'Estimates from Mr. Raymond of Metcalf <br />and Eddy were read. Mr. Duffy was asked to make an outline for <br />a clarified statement of the various steps in the program and <br />the estimated cost of each part. <br />The clerk was asked to prepare a memorandum of the <br />various projects or subjects reviewed by the Board for the <br />next meeting. <br />Adjourned 11.10 p.m. till Oct. 14. <br />t.
