PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />LEXINGTON, MASS, <br />April 9, 1927, <br />Present: Mr. Emery, Chairman. Messrs. Glynn, Duffy, <br />Cutter, Milne. Mr. Custance of the Selectmen <br />was present through most of the meeting as was <br />Mr. Cosgrove, Engineer. <br />Mr. Custance discussed with the Board the <br />ways and means for the coordination of the Board of <br />Survey and Planning Board. It was agreed to prepare <br />forms for petitions and routing of these to the Board, <br />etc., this being left for Messrs. Duffy and Milne to <br />work on with Mr. Chamberlain of the Selectmen. <br />The matter of permits issued for new building <br />on Massachusetts Avenue, East Lexington, within the <br />30 ft. building line being worked on by the Board was <br />discussed. The Board was surprised that the Selectmen <br />should have taken action in this matter without con- <br />sulting or advising the Planning Board. <br />The Board of Survey referred petitions of <br />Robbins & Smith, Swan, and Perkins to the Planning. <br />Board for review and report. <br />The matter of the Robbins and Smith procedure <br />was discussed with Mr. Custance. <br />The Shurtleff plan for street development in <br />the Vine Brook Drainage area was shown and briefly <br />discussed by the Board and Mr. Custance. <br />Adjourned 11.30 to Friday April 15, 1927. <br />W.
