1 <br />1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />February 9, 1926. <br />Present: Chairman Emery, Messrs. Tilton, Duffy, Worthen, <br />Glynn and Milne. <br />Mass. Ave. lir. Emery reported the selectments proposal <br />to reduce the curve on the avenue below Pleasant Street <br />near Oak Street, East Lexington, in connection with set -back <br />releases, etc. <br />The matter of street line and set -backs along <br />north side of the avenue near town hall and Edison sub- <br />station was presented in the light of proposed construction <br />of store block on the intervening lot. Mr. Emery reviewed <br />his discussions with the owners. Ile agreed to suggest to <br />the selectmen the advisability on early establishment of a <br />new street line from Woburn to Grant Street, a new taking <br />and building line from Grant Street to we --t of Town Hall <br />lot and a new building line thence to Meriam Street. <br />General, <br />There was a <br />matters pending on <br />policy in regw d to <br />general discussion of legislative <br />sewer and drainage acts, and on future <br />charges for water main extensions. <br />
