April 11, 1924. <br />ZLAOING -BOARD°` '' XRETIN@. <br />The regular wwokly meeting of the planning Board was.held in <br />the Selectments Room on Friday ev6ning, April 11th., at 7/45 <br />®'clocks. the fall board being present. <br />FOREST STREET <br />EXTENSION. <br />In response to the note seat the property owners <br />along the line of the propesed:Forest 5t, Extgnsi®n, there` <br />appeared before the ,Beard Mr. y.S.Seavery Mrs W.W.Fergueon, <br />Miss Rose As Tucker, and Miss Mary powers and her brothers <br />who in answer to the Ohattriaoa'g question as to their opin- <br />ion regarding the desirability of"the project and -their wil- <br />lingness to,co-operate, respond6d as follows: <br />Mr. Seaver. <br />Believes the extension would be a good thing; <br />it would Act, however, be of W great benefit to <br />himself#Although house he is now building, and which <br />is now practically sold, Fronts on proposed eaten - <br />Bien its ,entrance can just as well be from present <br />' street, He would be perfectly willing to ga iAta <br />Town heating and advocate extension but Would not be <br />willing to donate thoe leads though willing to deed <br />same to town at actual coat to him. <br />Mr. Ferguson. - and will <br />Favors the scheme - will donate laud <br />advocate extension in.Town Meeting. <br />Miss Tucker. <br />Thinks extension would be a good thing as it <br />would opera up back laAd. Is not prepared to state <br />her views# however, without consultation with, her <br />brothers <br />miss rowers. <br />Thinks extension would be a good thing for the <br />Town and that it would open up back land. She is not <br />enthusiastic, however, over donating her awn frOAt <br />land which she considers would be a much greater con- <br />tribution then that made by Bay of the ethers. <br />It is pointed out that by the extension of the <br />' street her back land, now practically worthless, <br />could be divided mato ten 75 foot lots; that the loss <br />
