88 <br />After some discussion on the matter, W. Rowse moved <br />that the vote of the Board. of January 20, 1946, approvtng <br />the salary of Miss Trrbell in the amount of $22.00, plus <br />16%4 plus $1.00 be rescinded. Mr..Sheldon seconded the <br />motion, and it was so voted. <br />Mr. Rowse then moved to reconaider this item, and <br />Approve the salary of Miss_ Tarbell in the amount of <br />22.00 per week, plus 16%, plus $2.00. Mr. Sheldon <br />seconded the motion, and it was so voted. <br />Mn Rowse further moved to reconsider the action of <br />the Board on January 20, 1946, whereby the salary .of the <br />Senior Clerk in the 3eleotmen s office was approved at <br />$22.00, plus 16%, plus $1.0.0. Mr. Sheldon seconded the <br />motion, and it was so voted. <br />Mr. Rowse then moved to reconsider this item and <br />approve the salary of Miss Doherty, Senior Clerk in the <br />Selectmen's Office, at 122.00 per week, phis 16%, plus <br />$2.00. Mr. Sheldon seconded. the motion, and it was so <br />voted, <br />Reid Tax A letter was reoeived from William F. Reid, 23 <br />Offer Dexter Road, Lexington, offering $360.00 for Leta 11 <br />and 1, Block20, Dexter Road, exington. <br />Mn Sarano moved that `a -proposal to sellthe-lata <br />be advertised -in the Lexington Minute=Man, and further <br />consideration be given the offer at the next meeting of <br />the Board. Mr. Sheldonseconded the motion, and it <br />was so voted. <br />Health A letter was received from the Board of Health, <br />Officers 'City of Malden, stating that several health effisers <br />Meetings of the communities in the North Metropolitan District met <br />at the Medford Board of Health to consider the advisability of <br />having regular meetings.. It Was decided to hold meetings <br />ever/ two montha'for the discussion of matters pertaining <br />to public health, <br />' In the anticipation of the separate Board of Health <br />following Town Meeting, the Board preferred to take no <br />action at this time. <br />Questionnaire was received from the Checker Taxi <br />Company who propose to furnish a helicopter taxi service <br />as soon" asegt ipment is available. <br />Mr. Rowse moved that no action be taken on the matter. <br />Mr. Serino seconded the motion, and it was so voted. <br />Application was received fr an Mrs. Marie C.' Locke, <br />6 Middle Street, Lexington, for a -Swedish Massage <br />License.
