TOWN OF LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS <br /> CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> Tuesday April 3, 2018 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> Parker Room, Town Office Building <br /> 1625 Massachusetts Ave <br /> Chair Philip Hamilton opened the meeting at 6:32pm in the Parker Room of the Town Office <br /> Building <br /> Commissioners Present: Phil Hamilton, Alex Dohan, Dick Wolk, Kevin Beuttell, Ruth Ladd, <br /> Duke Bitsko <br /> Others present: Karen Mullins, Conservation Administrator and Casey Hagerty, Conservation <br /> Department Assistant <br /> 6:32pm <br /> 5 John Hosmer Lane, Ph. Brook II Lot 6, Order of Conditions, 201-290, BL243 Compliance <br /> Status <br /> Cindy Sherman- representative <br /> Ms. Sherman explained that an Order of Conditions was issued on this property in 1990. The <br /> project was completed but a Certificate of Compliance was never followed up on. One of the <br /> requirements of the Order was for a Conservation Restriction to be placed on a portion of the <br /> property. During this process, two issues were discovered. The first was that the driveway was <br /> built outside of the easement area. The second is that part of the rip rap wall of the tennis court <br /> was intruding into the Conservation Restriction area. In order to address these problems, the <br /> applicant has revised the plan to move the easement to include the driveway area and pull back <br /> the CR so that the wall of the tennis court is not included in the restricted area. <br /> Questions and comments from the commission: <br /> The commission has how much of the wall extended into the originally proposed CR area. Ms. <br /> Sherman explained that she was unsure of the exact amount but it was very minor. She stated <br /> that they looked at extending the CR in another area on the site, but they were limited by an <br /> easement that runs through the site. <br /> The commission asked what the time line for achieving the Certificate of Compliance is. Ms. <br /> Sherman explained that at this point, she is asking the commission for feedback on the <br />
