Town of Lexington <br /> Lexington Center Committee <br /> Minutes for meeting of March 20, 2018 <br /> Ellen Stone Room, Cary Hall Building, 6:30 pm. <br /> Center Committee Members: Michael Boudett, Richard Brown, Frederic Johnson, Howard Levin, <br /> Jeffery Lyon, Pamela Lyons, Jerold Michelson (Chair), Pamela Shadley, Peter Siy <br /> Liaisons: Joe Pato, Board of Selectmen <br /> Guests: Avram Baskin, Dawn McKenna, Tourism Committee, David Tabeling <br /> The Center Committee voted 9-0 to support the BOS article for the final design <br /> and construction costs for the Visitors Center. <br /> The Center Committee voted 9-0 to ask the BOS to look at options for <br /> accelerated management of the Center Streetscape project. <br /> The Center Committee voted 9-0 to oppose the proposed changes to the <br /> HDC by-laws unless they are amended to include a greater diversity of nominating <br /> bodies including a representative of business interests. <br /> (Not actually voted): The Committee unanimously supports banners sponsored by <br /> local businesses publicizing the 25th anniversary of the Minuteman Bikeway. <br /> And we voted to approve the December, 2017, January and February, 2018 minutes. <br />
