BOARD OF APPEALS <br />August 30, 1979 <br />The Board of Appeals held'a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman <br />Natalie H. Ri£fin <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Robert A. Bowyer <br />Clarence D. Turner <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings <br />having been mailed and advertised as required by statute. <br />6 Wingate Rd., Donald F. and Joan P. Turner - variance to maintain existing dwelling <br />as located. <br />125 Burlington St., Arthur S. Ryan - special permit for a swimming pool. <br />5 Elena Rd., Barbara G. and Michael G. Kotzen - special permit for a pool. <br />40 Harding Rd., Reginald F. and Cheryl F. Murphy - variance to replace old stoop and <br />stairs with a vestibule, stoop and stairs. <br />80 Westview St., John A. Rizzo - special permit to use existing building (CM zone) <br />by commercial photographer as a laboratory and assembly area for the audio visual <br />materials/slides used in industrial slide shows. This is not a retail business <br />involving the general public, as in a camera store; nor is it a studio, as in a <br />portrait gtudio. Also, most of the photography involved in this line of work will <br />be done on location in factories. The building is currently being used as a <br />residence. Also requested, a sign to identify property and business. <br />1844 Mass. Ave., Jewel S. Douglass - variance and special permit for the construc- <br />tion of additional office space on the second floor of existing building. The side <br />yard of said building and of addition to be constructed is eleven feet rather than <br />twenty feet. Petitioner requests continuation of and addition to the existing <br />legal non -conforming use. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />6 Wingate Rd. - granted unanimously. <br />125 Burlington St. - granted unanimously <br />5 Elena Rd. - granted unanimously. <br />40 Harding Rd. - g1ranted unanimously. <br />80 Westview St. - granted unanimously. <br />1844 Mass.
