BOARD OF APPEALS <br />August 9, 1979 <br />' The Board of, Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman <br />Natalie H. Riffin <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Robert M. Gary, Associate <br />Eric T.,Clarke, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings having <br />been mailed and advertised as required by statute. <br />9 Rolfe Rd., Esther Isenberg - special permit for a swimming pool. <br />253 East St., ,john Stennes - special permit for a swimming pool. <br />1912 Mass. Ave., Friendly Evangelical Church - special permit for a standing sign <br />on the Hancock United Church of Christ property. <br />110 Bedford St. & 7 Shirley St., Richard T. and Joan E. Snelson - variance to divide <br />the existing lot containing two single family dwellings and detached garage constructed <br />prior to adoption of the zoning by-laws, now known as 110 Bedford St. and 7 Shirley St. <br />into Lots "A" and "B" and to maintain the existing dwelling and detached garage on said <br />Lot "A" with insufficient frontage on Shirley St., insufficient front yard set back, <br />' side yards, rear yard, and area and to maintain the existing dwelling on Lot B with <br />insufficient frontage on Bedford St., side yard on Shirley St., rear yard, and area. <br />363 Mass. Ave., Ruth Benoit, d/b/a The Kitchen - special permit to operate a restaurant <br />for serving food, including take-out service at 363 Mass. Ave., basement level. <br />Morrow Crossing, Moore Homes, Inc. - special permit for the development of Morrow <br />Crossing for 21 living units in 11 buildings plus garages. Also variances from dimen- <br />sional controls to permit lesser distances between certain buildings and garages, and <br />a variance to allow garage space for parking for not more than 6 automobiles per <br />garage. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />9 Rolfe Rd. - granted unanimously. <br />253 East St. - granted unanimously. <br />1912 Mass.
