BOARD OF APPEALS <br />May 24, 1979 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, Chairman <br />Woodruff.M. Brodhead, Vice Chairman <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />George P. Wadsworth, past chairman <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings <br />having been mailed and advertised as required by statute. <br />927 Waltham St.,,Nicholas A. Cannalonga (Wagon Wheel Nursery and Garden Center) <br />- renewal of special permit to continue to store and sell in conjunction with the <br />operation of a nursery at 927 Waltham St., all of the supplementary items specified <br />in subsection 24.5 and for the sale of Christmas trees, wreaths, etc. in season. <br />736 Massachusett$ Ave., John R. Holt - special permit to use a portion of his <br />residence as an insurance broker. A conditional special permit was granted for <br />use of the same premises for a law office. <br />9 Myrna Rd., William J. Young - variance to build a garage. <br />' Avon St. (Map 7% Lot 45), Lexington Housing Authority - variance of minimum side - <br />yard requirement for construction of a single family dwelling by or for LHA. <br />Subject property comprises one tax title lot and is further identified as a portion <br />of Site No. 16C under the IRA's Scattered Sites Housing Program. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />927 Waltham St. - granted unanimously (expires 4/24/81). <br />736 Mass. Ave. - granted with conditions. (unanimous) <br />9 Myrna Rd. - granted unanimously. <br />Avon St. - granted unanimously. <br />The Board discussed meeting dates.
