BOARD OF APPEALS <br />' February 22, 1979 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: Ruth Morey, acting Chairman <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Natalie H. Riffin, Associate <br />Clarence D. Turner, Associate <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings <br />having been mailed and advertised as required by statute. <br />16 Fairland Street, Charles H. Prentice - variance of dimensional controls to <br />maintain dwelling as located. <br />6 Cherry Street, George S. Grey, Jr. - variance of dimensional controls for an <br />addition. <br />Cedar St. corner of Denver St., Harvey W. Newgent and Jean P. Newgent - request <br />to combine Lots 43, 44, 45 and 81 as shown on a plan entitled "Lexington Farms, <br />Lexington - H.A. Millhouse, C.E., March 1912 (recorded)" into one lot having a <br />frontage on Cedar Street of 75 feet and an area of 12,924 sq. ft., and to maintain <br />the existing dwelling and garage on said lot having insufficient frontage and area, <br />' and to combine Lots 38 through 42 inclusive into a separate and distinctive build- <br />ing lot with a frontage on Cedar Street of 93 feet and on Denver Street of 125 ft. <br />and an area of 13,566 sq. ft. The said two parcels are shown on plan entitled <br />"Plan of Land in Lexington, 1/26/79, Miller and Nylander Co., Div. of Boston <br />Survey Consultants, Inc. (please see decision filed with the Town Clerk re. this <br />request and the Board's decision) sae /36 cedst <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />16 Fairland St. - granted unanimously. <br />6 Cherry St. - granted unanimously. <br />Cedar & Denver Streets - 4 to 1 denied (Chairman voted in favor). <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
