BOARD OF APPEALS <br />July 27, 1978 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's Meeting Room <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: George P. Wadsworth, Chairman P.S. Peter F. DiMatteo attended his <br />Ruth Morey first Board of Appeals meeting. <br />Thomas G. Taylor (Lex. Building Commissioner) <br />Eric T. Clarke, Associate <br />Clarence D. Turner, Associate (Steve Politi, Lex. Minute -Man Reporter) <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings <br />having been mailed and advertised as required by statute. <br />Five Fields, Inc. - permit to remove soil, loam, sand or gravel in connection with <br />a maintenance program for a skating pond located in the SW corner of a tract of <br />ten acres, more or less, owned by Five Fields, Inc., bordering on Barberry Rd. <br />1314 Mass. Ave., Carol A. Snyder - permit to remove fill and loam from area 35'x35' <br />X41 for the purpose of modifying the existing driveway to provide for a vehicular <br />turnaround and parking. <br />51 Spring St., Phyllis_ Johnson - variance which will allow lot 64 of a plan, 5/30/78 <br />by Miller & Nylander, to be a buildable lot. The 20,000 sq. ft. lot has frontage <br />of 50 ft. (M25, L155). <br />309 Marrett Rd., Scott D. MacKay - variance which will allow lot 82, 309 Marrett <br />Rd., shown on a plan, 1/6/78 by Miller & Nylander, to be a buildable lot. Lot <br />has frontage of 50 ft. and area of 5,800 sq. ft. <br />2 Paddock Lane, I. J. Melman - variance in order to build a garage. Property is <br />located at corner of Follen Rd. and Paddock Lane. Proposed garage will be 15 ft. <br />from Paddock Lane. <br />388 Concord Ave., William A. Palmer - renewal of temporary SP to allow for the <br />temporary parking of not more than 15 motor vehicles on the rear of the property <br />oned by Barbara J. and George W. Forten. Area is enclosed by a fence, is 400 feet <br />from Concord Ave. and more than 250 feet from nearest property currently used for <br />residential purposes. Parking will be in conjunction with towing service. <br />4 Circle Rd., Lynn Geltman - special permit to operate a nursery/kindergarten/day <br />school. <br />Decisions filed with the Town Clerk. <br />Five Fields, Inc. - granted unanimously with conditions. <br />1314 Mass. Ave. - granted unanimously with conditions. <br />51 Spring St. - decision defered until Sept. 7, 1978.
