BOARD OF APPEALS <br />May 25, 1978 <br />rThe Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, May 25, 1978 <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Office Building, Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: George P. Wadsworth, Chairman <br />Ruth Morey <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings <br />having been mailed and advertised as required by statute. <br />2325 Massachusetts Avenue, Community Nursery School- special permit for the con- <br />struction of an addition. The school operates under special permit as a coopera- <br />tive organization for the care and instruction of pre-school children. The pro- <br />posed addition will provide increased indoor play space and additional office and <br />entry area. The number of classrooms will remain unchanged. <br />2 Forbes Road, Honeywell, Inc. - special permit to construct an addition, 25' x 50', <br />to be attached to the west wall of the existing building and to be used to house <br />mechanical equipment which is now kept in the open. The applicant is the lessee <br />of the premises. <br />19 Woodcliffe Road, Robert L. Reuss - variances to allow the erection of an <br />attached two -car garageon the north side of the existing house with a sideyard of <br />9.1 ft. rather than 15 ft. and to erect a garrison -style second story with 24.7 ft. <br />frontyard setback instead of the required 30 ft. The present house has a setback <br />of 2A ft. A variance was granted in 1952 for a vestibule. <br />Decisions <br />The Board made the following decisions, which were filed with the Town Clerk. <br />2325 Massachusetts Ave. - granted unanimously with conditions. <br />2 Forbes Rd. - granted unanimously with conditions. <br />19 Woodcliffe Rd. — granted unanimously with conditions. <br />Other Action <br />The Board discussed the Planning Board proposedrevisions of Section 25, <br />the Zoning By -Law Use Regulation Schedule.
