BOARD OF APPEALS <br />March 23, 1978 <br />' The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, March 23, 1978, <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m., in the Town Office Building, Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Present: George P. Wadsworth, Chairman <br />�- Ruth Morey <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices of hearings <br />having been mailed and advertised as required by statute. <br />Sydney & Noyes Associates - variance to permit parking on the property formerly <br />known as Hancock School in conjunction with the proposed condominium development <br />at the corner of Clarke and Forest Streets. <br />Elliott M. and Concetta S. Fielder - variances of Section 27, Schedule of Dimen- <br />sional Controls, in regard to an existing house and lot at l Briggs Road. No <br />changes are being made to the dimensions of the house or lot. <br />David E. Gompers - special permit, pursuant to Section 13 (site plan review) to <br />construct a building (approximately 113,000 sq. ft.) at the property described <br />herein: Land in Lexington, shown as Lot #1 and Lot #2 on a plan in Lexington, <br />filed in the Land Registration Office for the Southern District of Middlesex County <br />with Certificate #139005 in Book #785, Page #45. This property is shown on Lex. <br />Property Map 80, Lot 4, on Hartwell Avenue. <br />Decisions: The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See <br />decisions filed with the Town Clerk for more details. <br />Sydney and Noyes - granted, unanimously. <br />Fielder - granted unanimously. <br />Gompers - The Chairman was directed to write the following letter: <br />Mr. David E. Gompers <br />16 Welsh Road <br />Lexington, MA 02173 <br />Re: Kiln Brook Office Park, Hartwell Avenue <br />Hearing, March 23, 1978 <br />Dear Mr. Gompers: <br />The Board of Appeals has deferred its decision on your petition for Kiln Brook <br />Office Park. This delay is intended to provide you with an opportunity <br />' (1) to provide the Board of Appeals with plans showing an on-site <br />disposal system which can be converted and connected to town sewerage when <br />available for this site and has the approval of Lexington's Board of Health. <br />(2) to favorably resolve a HUD floodway definition problem; and <br />
