Board of Appeals hearings - February 23, 1978 -2 <br />IThe aforesaid request to withdraw received unanimous approval;, motion to <br />accept made by Thomas G. Taylor. Clarence D. Turner seconded the motion. <br />Two hearings had been scheduled for this date, notices having been mailed <br />for both and hearings advertised in the Lexington Minute -Man newspaper as re- <br />quired by statute. <br />A public hearing was held on the following petition: <br />Donald W. Wilson (Wilson Farm, Inc.) - to renew special permits for 10 Pleasant <br />Street as follows: (1) to continue to operate roadside stand, pursuant to Sec. <br />2-.33 and (2) to continue seasonal sale of Christmas trees and greens, pursuant <br />to Sec. 25.34. <br />The Board made the following decision: <br />Wilson Farms - granted unanimously subject to certain conditions. <br />The Board discussed current proposed zoning by-law changes, especially <br />centering their attention on the new propose (by the Planning Board) Section 13, <br />dated February 21. <br />It was generally agreed that the insertion of the new 13.2 heading "Special <br />Permits with Site Plan Review (SPS)" provided the clarification necessary if <br />' 12.2 is moved to Section 13. <br />It was further agreed to oppose the second paragraph of the proposed 13.1.1 <br />which appears as number 7 in Article 66. The Board .wants no part in judging; <br />diversity of services. <br />In response to a letter from the Planning Director inviting the Board of <br />Appeals to a joint meeting on Saturday, March 4, at 9:30 a.m., fort discussion <br />of Special Permits, Section 25, and Use Variances, it was ascertained that <br />some of the Board of Appeals members expected to be present and would attend the <br />March 1 hearing of the Planning Board in regard to special permits. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br />1 <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Evelyn F.
