BOARD OF APPEALS December 9, 1976 ' The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, December 9, 1976 in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Office Building. Present were: George P. Wadsworth, Chairman Ruth Morey, Vice Chairman Woodruff M. Brodhead Irving H. Mabee Thomas G. Taylor Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices having been mailed As required by statute and hearings advertised in the newspaper. Melvin 14. Kayce and Julieanne Kayce - variance of Section 27 of the Lexington Zoning Bylaw to enclose a porch of the existing house at 117 Kendall Road, extending it into the side yard. This addition, which will be used as a family room, will have a side yard of 13'3" instead of the required 15'. Marjorie R. Bulger and Ronald M. Bulger - special permit and variance, pursuant to Sections 30.3 and 27 of the Zoning Bylaw, to maintain the existing dwelling at 10 Oxford Street with insufficient front yard setback and to build an addi- tion (16' x 18', family room) which will have a front yard setback of 20 feet instead of the required 30 feet. ' John F. Schneider - special permit for an extension of time, allowing the three bedroom 70' trailer to remain on the property at 29 Moreland Avenue until Decem- ber 16, 1976, to complete restoration work on house damaged by fire. Lexington Gardens, Inc. - special permit under subsections 12.2 and 24.5 of the Zoning iylaw to continue to store and sell in conjunction with the operation of a nursery at 93 Hancock Street, Lexington, all of the supplementary items speci- fied in the subsection 24.5. The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See permits for details, all in Board of Appeals' files and also filed with the Town Clerk. Kayce -y granted, unanimously. Bulger - granted, unanimously. Schneider - granted, unanimously. Lexin t n Gardens Inc. - The Board voted unanimously to postpone decision to 12/23/76. Motion to postpone made by Mr. Mabee and seconded by Attorney Taylor. The time was set for 8 p.m. Other action, discussion, information: A Oi.cture was taken at this meeting (kindness of the police department) for the Annval Town Report for 1976, Associates Natalie H. Riffin and Clarence Turner having ,joined the meeting. ' AnJnvitation of Mr. Richard E. Dobroth of Drummer Boy Green Trust, who has petitioned the Board for a hearing for a special permit (Phase II for 80 addition- al unit#) in regard to land off Bedford St. and Winter St., was accepted and four members of the Board and the clerk agreed to go on the tour of the site on Saturday, December 11, 1976, 10 a.m.
