BOARD OF APPEALS <br />December 9, 1976 <br />' The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, December 9, 1976 <br />in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Office Building. <br />Present were: George P. Wadsworth, Chairman <br />Ruth Morey, Vice Chairman <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />Irving H. Mabee <br />Thomas G. Taylor <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices having been <br />mailed As required by statute and hearings advertised in the newspaper. <br />Melvin 14. Kayce and Julieanne Kayce - variance of Section 27 of the Lexington <br />Zoning Bylaw to enclose a porch of the existing house at 117 Kendall Road, <br />extending it into the side yard. This addition, which will be used as a family <br />room, will have a side yard of 13'3" instead of the required 15'. <br />Marjorie R. Bulger and Ronald M. Bulger - special permit and variance, pursuant <br />to Sections 30.3 and 27 of the Zoning Bylaw, to maintain the existing dwelling <br />at 10 Oxford Street with insufficient front yard setback and to build an addi- <br />tion (16' x 18', family room) which will have a front yard setback of 20 feet <br />instead of the required 30 feet. <br />' John F. Schneider - special permit for an extension of time, allowing the three <br />bedroom 70' trailer to remain on the property at 29 Moreland Avenue until Decem- <br />ber 16, 1976, to complete restoration work on house damaged by fire. <br />Lexington Gardens, Inc. - special permit under subsections 12.2 and 24.5 of the <br />Zoning iylaw to continue to store and sell in conjunction with the operation of <br />a nursery at 93 Hancock Street, Lexington, all of the supplementary items speci- <br />fied in the subsection 24.5. <br />The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting. See permits <br />for details, all in Board of Appeals' files and also filed with the Town Clerk. <br />Kayce -y granted, unanimously. <br />Bulger - granted, unanimously. <br />Schneider - granted, unanimously. <br />Lexin t n Gardens Inc. - The Board voted unanimously to postpone decision to <br />12/23/76. Motion to postpone made by Mr. Mabee and seconded by Attorney Taylor. <br />The time was set for 8 p.m. <br />Other action, discussion, information: <br />A Oi.cture was taken at this meeting (kindness of the police department) for <br />the Annval Town Report for 1976, Associates Natalie H. Riffin and Clarence Turner <br />having ,joined the meeting. <br />' AnJnvitation of Mr. Richard E. Dobroth of Drummer Boy Green Trust, who has <br />petitioned the Board for a hearing for a special permit (Phase II for 80 addition- <br />al unit#) in regard to land off Bedford St. and Winter St., was accepted and four <br />members of the Board and the clerk agreed to go on the tour of the site on <br />Saturday, December 11, 1976, 10 a.m. <br />
