1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS <br />July 29, 1976 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thurs., July 29, 1976, beginning <br />at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Office Building. Present <br />were: Chairman Nickerson, Vice Chairman Wadsworth, Ruth Morey, Woodruff M. Brodhead <br />and Associate Member, Thomas Z. Taylor. Also present were a room full of towns- <br />people, a Lexington Minute -Man Reporter,and a representative of the League of Women <br />Voters. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices having been mailed <br />to the proper persons and notices having been advertised as required by statute. <br />Louis J. Cannizzo special permit to construct another greenhouse (size: 24' x 86' x <br />11110" high) at the rear of 331 Concord Avenue. <br />Russell Square Condominium Trust - special permit to erect two free standing identi- <br />fication signs, one at 1505 Massachusetts Avenue, the main entrance, and the other at <br />15 Woburn Street, the side entrance. <br />Chadwick's - permission to erect a free standing sign on the property at 903 Waltham <br />Street. This sign will be double faced, 6' by 3', with red letters on a white back- <br />ground and mounted on two 4" by 4" posts. The Petitioner is the Lessee of the <br />property. <br />Adams Pool Corporation - special permit, pursuant to Section 25.24, to increase mem- <br />bership authorization to 75 bondholders in the Adams Pool Corporation, 316 Emerson <br />' Road. This petition does not seek to alter the authorization for the total number <br />of non -neighborhood bondholders which will remain at 15 or below. <br />Martha J. Lima and James J. Lima, Jr. - variances of the zoning bylaw in order to <br />subdivide a parcel of land known and numbered as 40 Vaille Avenue into two lots: <br />Lot A consisting of approximately 17,568 square feet, having an approximate frontage <br />of 244 feet on Vaille Avenue, containing a two-story, wood frame, single family <br />dwelling with attached one -car garage and swimming pool; and Lot B consisting of <br />approximately 7,072 square feet, having an approximate frontage of 110 feet on Vaille <br />Avenue. <br />The Board made the following decisions, all in open meeting with spectators <br />present. See permits and denials for details. <br />Cannizzo - granted unanimously. <br />Russell Square - granted 4 to 1, <br />Chadwick's - granted unaimously. <br />Adams Pool - granted unanimously. <br />Lima - granted 4 to 1, Thomas G. <br />Mr. Nickerson in opposition. <br />Taylor in opposition. <br />All pertinent material is on file in Board office.
