BOARD OF APPEALS <br />May 20, 1976 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting on Thursday, May 20, 1976, <br />beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Room G15 of the Town Office Building. Present <br />were: Chairman Nickerson, v.c. Wadsworth, R. Morey, I. Mabee and W. Brodhead, <br />all regular members. Also present were a room full of townspeople, a repre- <br />sentative of the League of Women Voters and a Lexington Minute -Man Reporter. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notices having been <br />mailed to the proper people and advertised in the newspaper as required by law. <br />Doran Greenhouses, Inc. - permission to erect at 150 East Street a Quonsett <br />style greenhouse (14' x 44') constructed from steel pipe frame and polyethylene <br />cover. The greenhouse will set back from the street approximately 175' and <br />100' from nearest lot line. <br />United States Environmental Protection Agency, New England Regional Laboratory <br />- permission to erect two free-standing directional signs, one at each entrance, <br />at 60 Westview Street. <br />Clifford D. Fleming— variance in order to permit the construction of a single <br />family dwelling on Lots 45, 46 and 47, abutting 26 Earl Street. Earl Street <br />is an unaccepted street. <br />Robert D. Patterson, M.D. - special permit pursuant to Section 25.81 to use a <br />portion of the dwelling at 21 Blossom Street, as an office for the practice of <br />psychiatry. The office will be used only week days between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. <br />with evening hours until 9 p.m. one or two days per week. See permits and denial for <br />details. <br />Doran - granted unanimously. <br />U.S.-EPA - granted unanimously. <br />Fleming - denied on a vote of -3 to 2, the chairman and vice chairman voting <br />in opposition. <br />Patterson - granted unanimously, subject to conditions. <br />All pertinent material is on file in the Board of Appeals' office under <br />the name of the petitioner. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:35 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />1;� -e� <br />Evelyn F.
