BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' August 28, 1975 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Thursday, <br />August 28, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town Office <br />Building. Present were three regular members and two associate members of the <br />Board of Appeals. Regular members: Chairman Nickerson, Ruth Morey, Logan <br />Clarke. Associate members: Natalie,Riffin and Robert M. Gary. Also present, <br />in addition to petitioners and/or their attorneys, were a Lexington Minute -Man <br />reporter, several Waltham City Councillors, a large attendance of Waltham <br />residents, as well as residents of Lincoln and Lexington. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notice having been <br />mailed as required by law to abutters, etc. and to town boards and officials. <br />Notices were published in the Lexington Minute -Man newspaper as required. <br />See permits and denials for more information on all hearings listed below. <br />Barry S. Caouette - variance of Section 27 to build a single family residence at <br />10 Tucker Avenue with a side yard of 7k ft. instead of the required 10 ft. <br />C-R Trust by its agent, Martin R. Forsberg - special permit under the provisions <br />of Sections 12.2 and 25.23 so as to allow for the construction of a United <br />States Postal Service Incoming Mail Center on a lot containing 11.81 acres, more <br />or less, located southerly of Route 2 and westerly of Route 128. <br />' James and Donna Alexson - variance to maintain existing dwelling at 11 Carville <br />Avenue with a front yard setback of approximately 19 ft. instead of the 30 ft. <br />required and to build a porch addition to the existing dwelling with a side yard <br />of 6k ft. instead of the required 10 ft. <br />Following the hearings the Board made the following decisions, all in <br />public session: <br />Caouette - denied, four to one, the chairman voting in favor. <br />C-R Trust - denied unanimously. <br />Alexson - granted unanimously. <br />All pertinent material is on file in the Board of Appeals' office. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />(� vt -,-X, C&. <br />Evelyn F. Cole <br />Administrative Clerk <br />SATURDAY, Sept. 27 (9 a.m. to after 10:30): Board met in S.M.R.-and finalized "write-up" <br />'for C-R Trust decision before getting Town Counsel's approval and posting with Town Clerk. <br />Members present on 8/28, except for Mr. Gary were present at Sat. meeting. Mr. Gary <br />agreed to concur with any action the chairman might take. Vice-chairman, G. Wadsworth <br />was also present, but not voting.
