L <br />11 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />October 1, 1974 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />October 1, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of the Town <br />Office Building. Present were three regular members and two associates as <br />follow: Chairman, Donald E. Nickerson; regular members, Ruth Morey and <br />Woodruff M. Brodhead; associate members, Natalie Riffin and Haskell Reed. <br />Also present were: a Minute -Man reporter, LWV Observer and a room full of <br />townspeople. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notice having been <br />mailed to those who should legally receive them and to town boards and offi- <br />cials who will or might be affected by decisions made and also advertised in <br />the Lexington Minute -Man newspaper. <br />Justina Pestana - variance to divide an existing lot located at corner of Bow <br />Street and 10 Theresa Avenue from one lot into two lots in order to correct <br />an erroneous consolidation of said lots into a single lot at the time of land <br />court registration, as shown on plans submitted. Neither of said lots will <br />have sufficient frontage or area as required under Section 27 of Zoning By- <br />law of the Town of Lexington. <br />Margaret H. Merry - variance of Section 27 to maintain an existing dwelling <br />at 26 Fairlawn Lane, which has a setback of approximately 27.6 feet instead <br />of the required 30 feet. <br />Michael J. Bailey and Jean F. Bailey - variance from Section 27 to maintain an <br />existing dwelling at 7 Jackson Court and to re-establish as a legal building <br />lot that portion of the premises originally containing 4,077 square feet of <br />land which were inadvertently reduced by 232.5 square feet of land. <br />Anthony R. Cataldo - renewal of permission to process and sell fruits and <br />vegetables at premises located at Gold Ribbon Farms, 1265 Massachusetts Avenue. <br />Following the hearings the Board made the following decisions, all in <br />public open meeting: <br />Pestana - granted unanimously. <br />Merry - granted unanimously. <br />Bailey - granted unanimously. No house shall be built on parcel 2. <br />Cataldo - granted unanimously, with certain conditions. <br />All pertinent material is on file in the Board of Appeals' office. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m. <br />1 <br />Evelyn F.
