BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />December 12, 1972 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />December 12, 1972 at 7:30 p.m. in the selectmen's meeting room of the Town <br />Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Sheldon, <br />Wadsworth and Mrs. Morey, and associate member Brodhead. <br />Public hearings were held on the following petitions, notice having been <br />mailed to the petitioners, to the owners of all property deemed by the Board <br />to be affected thereby as they appear on the most recent local tax list, to <br />town boards and officials who will or might be affected by decisions made, <br />and also advertised in the Lexington Minute -man, except that the first two <br />listed below were withdrawn officially as indicated under decisions, notices <br />of those withdrawn having been mailed to the abutters of the petitioner's <br />property involved and others interested. Hearings scheduled as follows: <br />F. Meade Reynolds - petition for a variance of the zoning by-law to allow the <br />use of land as a building lot for a one -family dwelling. The land is numbered <br />3 Aaron Road and shown as lots 8-B and 9 on a plan entitled "Plan of Land in <br />Lexington", dated December 3, 1968, by Albert A. Miller and Wilbur C. Nylander, <br />containing 15,000 square feet of land and having a frontage on Aaron Road of <br />120 feet. The applicant has an option to purchase. This hearing officially <br />withdrawn by the applicant. Notice of this fact was declared at this hearing. <br />' Robert A. Patterson, Coordinator of Special Education * petition for a special <br />permit, under Section 25.21 of the zoning by-law to conduct a co-educational <br />prevocational life care training program on the premises known as 45 Forest <br />Street withdrawn. It requested a maximum of twelve young adults (17 to 22 <br />years). This school will be in session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through <br />Friday from September through June. There will be one teacher and two aides. <br />This property, owned by Lexington Friends Community Residence, will be leased <br />to the school. Notice that this petition was withdrawn was made at this hear- <br />ing and all abutters and others interested were notified prior to this meeting. <br />Albert R. Piantedosi - petition for a variance from the zoning by-law to allow <br />for the temporary parking of not more than fifteen (15) motor vehicles on the <br />lot owned by the applicant at 443 Lincoln Street. <br />Edward F. and Shirley L. Donnelly - petition for a variance of the zoning by- <br />law to build a one-story addition (12' x 18') to the existing house at 19 <br />Emerald Street, which will leave a side yard of 15.7 feet instead of the re- <br />quired 20 feet. The proposed addition will be for a dining area and family <br />room. <br />William E. Maloney - petition for a special permit under Sections 12.2 and <br />24.5 of the zoning by-law for permission for the applicant, his lessee or <br />nominee, to conduct a nursery on premises located at 661 Lowell Street, con- <br />sisting of approximately 5.1 acres. The applicant has an option to purchase <br />the premises. <br />Peter S. and Betty A. Milinazzo - petition for a variance to maintain a tree <br />house on property at 27 Ewell Avenue. <br />
