BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' October 20, 1970 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was <br />held on Tuesday, October 20, 1970 at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's <br />meeting Room, The Bird Room, Cary Memorial Building. Present <br />were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Dawes, Wadsworth, <br />Sheldon and associate member Morey. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Joseph Picariello - variance of the Zoning By -Law to maintain <br />an existing dwelling at 58 Bow Street, having insufficient setback <br />of 17.9 feet instead of the required 20 feet on the southerly side <br />yard. <br />Moward A. Smith DVM - permission to maintain an existing <br />sign, overall size 5 ft. 3t in, wide and 6 ft. 10 in, high, <br />located on the premises at 476 Bedford Street. <br />Colonial Pharmacy - permission to erect and maintain a single <br />face, colonial style sign, 3 feet x 2 feet to be attached to the <br />building at 1754 Massachusetts Avenue. <br />Bu a Bro . Liquors. Inc. - permission to erect and maintain <br />' a sign, 16 in. x 10 ft., on the north side of the building and <br />a roofline sign, 10 ft. x 3 ft., both signs made of plexioass, <br />illuminated and to be located on the building located at 131 <br />Massachusetts _Avenue. <br />Bedford Travelodge - permission to erect and maintain a <br />free standing directional sign, 8 ft. x 4 ft., to be located on <br />property formerly of Ernest B. Johnson, Jr. on Grove Street at <br />Route 128. <br />Josenh F. Chabot DVM - permission to erect and maintain <br />a building at 149 Adams Street, to be used for the practice of <br />veterinary medicine. <br />William H. Sullivan - variance of the Zoning By -Law to change <br />lot lines Of ots 3, 9, 10 located at 6, 4 and 2 Bushnell Drive, <br />respectively, to allow abutting property frontage for future building <br />lot frontage. <br />•. ...aaa aqua u •1\L n 1111MAU r G U.J. — <br />variance to permit the lot at 21 ercy oa to be divided into three <br />sections, A, B and C. each of the petitioners to acquire one section <br />and a variation to permit an insufficient side yard on section B. <br />At the close of the hearings, an executive session was held <br />' during which the following decisions were reached: <br />Joseph Picariello - granted. <br />Howard A. Smith, DVM - granted. <br />
