BOARD OF APPEALS <br />September 29, 1970 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was <br />held on Tuesday, September 29, 1970, at 7:30 p.m, in the <br />temporary Selectmen's meeting room, The Bird Room in the Cary <br />Memorial Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson and <br />regular members Abbott, Sheldon, Dawes and Wadsworth. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Paul Mara hio - special permit to construct a greenhouse <br />20 ft. 40 ft. in connection with the vegetable stand at <br />653 Lowell Street. <br />Elliott J. and Mary M. Barrett - variance of the Zoning <br />By -Law to maintain an existing dwelling at 92 Middle Street, <br />having insufficient side yard of 6.7 ft. instead of the <br />required 7.5 feet and insufficient front yard setback of <br />27.3 feet instead of the required 30 feet. <br />James Dhimos - variance to allow the construction <br />of an addition to the existing dwelling at 239 Lincoln Street, <br />having a side yard of 13.6 feet instead of the required 15 feet. <br />Daniel Brzezenski - variance to build an attached 2 -car <br />' garage 24 by 30 feet. The garage to be attached to the existing <br />dwelling at 43 Robinson Road would have a side yard of 9 feet <br />instead of the required 15 feet. <br />Oneida Corporation - permission to revise a small portion <br />of a subdivision known as "Drummer Boy", located in a proposed <br />subdivision off Bedford and Winter streets, from conventional <br />to cluster lots. <br />At the close of the hearings, an executive session was <br />held during which the above requests were discussed and the <br />following decisions reached: <br />Paul Marashio - granted. <br />Elliott J. and Mary M. Barrett - granted. <br />James Dhimos - granted <br />Daniel Brzezenski - granted -garage to be 22 ft. wide. <br />Oneida Corporation - granted. <br />Also discussed at this meeting was the Walnut Farm Trust <br />hearing, with Mrs. Morey, the associate member who was on <br />the board for that hearing on September 8, 1970. The Board <br />reached the following decision: <br />Walnut Farm Trust - denied. <br />After discussing a letter from the Building Inspector <br />' regarding bonding of composite masonry walls, upon a motion <br />made and seconded, the Board unanimously voted: <br />To vary Article I Section 8 of the Budding By -Law of <br />the Town of Lexington to permit this method to be used <br />for the construction of the Town Office Building addition. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />R.
