1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS <br />June 16, 1970 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />on Tuesday, June 16, 1970, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room <br />Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular <br />members Wadsworth, Dawes and associate members Morey and Clarke. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Lexington Chalet Inc. - permission to erect and maintain <br />one sign, consisting of one area, 18 ft. x 6 ft* and a second area <br />$' x 3' at 440 Bedford Street. <br />.Daniel C. Yuill DMD - permission to maintain a 20 inch x <br />30 inch sign, illegally installed in 1956, located on the premises <br />at 20 Muzzey Street. <br />Paul Duan - variance of the Zoning By -Law to allow the <br />construction of an attached garage and added bedroom space above <br />to be added onto the existing residence at 70 Freemont Street, <br />leaving a side yard of 8.2 feet instead of the required 15 feet. <br />Anthony P. Luonao - variance of the Zoning By -Law for the <br />installation of a swimming pool behind the residence at 42 Valley- <br />field Street, leaving a 5 foot side yard instead of the required <br />10 feet. <br />Walnut Farm Trust - variance to allow six enclosed tennis <br />courts an cub house on lot A next to lot B, which has a street <br />number of 25, on Walnut Street. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held <br />during which the above requests were discussed and the following <br />decisions reached: <br />Lexington Chalet Inc. - granted. <br />Daniel C. Yuill, DMD - granted. <br />Paul Duggan - granted. <br />Anthony P. Luongo - denied. <br />Walnut Farm Trust - Insufficient material. No hearing. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br />R.
