BOARD OF APPEALS <br />IMay 5, 1970 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, May 5, 1970, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office <br />Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Dawes, Abbott, <br />Wadsworth and associate member Brodhead. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />C. Edward and Alfred T. Burri - variance of the zoning reguations <br />to allow a building lot to be subdivided from the lower right side of <br />the 2 1/2 acres site located at 34 Winter Street creating a new building <br />lot consisting of 30,000+ square feet of land with 97+ feet of frontage <br />on Winter Street. <br />Willie Smith, Jr. - variance to construct a 14' x 8" entry deck and <br />attach to the existing dwelling at 10 White Pine Lane, with a side yard <br />of 7 feet instead of the required 15 feet. <br />D & B Realty Trust - finding and determination that the proposed <br />construction of a new building at lot i8 Militia Drive will constitute <br />a suitable development and a variance to permit the construction of a <br />lesser number of parking spaces than required. <br />Tina, Robert A. and Janet R. DeSimone - permission under Section <br />25.15 of the Zoning By -Law to convert the existing dwelling at 191 Waltham <br />Street from one family to two families. <br />Urban Systems, Inc. - special permit to erect on the premises known <br />and numbered 113 Concord Avenue a child care facility which will contain <br />approximately 10,000 square feet in area. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the above requests were discussed and the following decisions <br />reached: <br />C. Edward and Alfred T. Burri - granted. <br />Willie Smith, Jr. - granted a 10' x 8' entry deck. <br />D & B Realty Trust - granted -63 parking spaces. <br />Tina, Robert A. and Janet R. DeSimone - denied(2-2-1 vote) <br />Urban Systems, Inc. - denied . <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file <br />under the name of each petitioner. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m. <br />R.
