1 <br />1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING <br />February 13, 1969 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Thursday, February 13, 1969, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, <br />Town Office Building. Present were Acting Chairman Abbott, regular <br />member Sheldon and Associate Members Brodhead and Emery. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />William P. Fitzgerald for a variance of the Lexington Zoning By - <br />Law in order to operate a garage for general repairs of automobiles <br />at 430 Concord Avenue, Lexington. The working hours are from 8:00 a.m. <br />to 5:00 p.m. This variance requested for the period of 90 days. <br />Dunfel Corporation (Lexington Motor Inn) for permission to erect <br />two signs on the premises located at 727 Marrett Road, Lexington. One <br />sign to be at the entrance of the Sheraton Lexington Motor Inn and be <br />2'4°'high and 3'8" wide. Another sign to be placed upon the easterly <br />wall of the building facing Route 128. Sign to be 15' high and 10'0" <br />wide. <br />Joseph A. Bettencourt (Campanelli, Inc.) for permission to maintain <br />a temporary sign, approximately 8' x 9' announcing the Industrial Park, <br />which was inadvertently installed at 101 Hartwell Avenue, Lexingbbn. <br />Arthur F. and John B. Douglass (Almario Realty Trust) for a <br />variance of the Lexingbon Zoning By -Law for permission to use the wooden <br />building situated at the rear of 1844 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, <br />for purposes of hairdresser, beautician and manicurist and for office use. <br />William P. Fitzgerald - Denied. <br />Dunfey Corporation - Granted. <br />Joseph A. Bettencourt - Granted. <br />Arthur F. and John B.
