BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING <br />November 5, 1968 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, November 5, 1968, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, Town <br />Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members <br />Wadsworth, Abbott (for Corazzini case only) and Associate Members <br />Brodhead and Emery. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />William & Iris Howard for permission to continue to operate a <br />nursery school in their home at 15 Ewell Ave., for five days a week - <br />one session, 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., September through June. <br />Corazzini Bros. for a special permit to construct an additional <br />greenhouse to the existing greenhouses at 188 Blossom St., and for a <br />variance of the Lexington Zoning By -Law to permit a 24 ft. front yard <br />instead of the required 40 ft. <br />Francis_J -Hart _Jr. (Lexington Driving School) for permission to <br />use premises at 401 Lowell St., for the operation of a driving school, <br />which is now located at 55 Waltham St. and must relocate. <br />Augustus S. Campbell for a variance to build an addition to the <br />existing dwelling at 58 Harding Rd., which would have a side yard of <br />7.5' instead of the required 10', and to maintain the present dwelling <br />with a side yard of 8.6' on the right hand side as you view the lot from <br />Harding Rd. <br />Albert Trieschm_an for a variance of the Lexington Zoning By -Law to <br />permit the addition of a canopy to be built over a sidewalk, which would <br />leave a side yard of 10' instead of the required 15' on the east side of <br />the property at 2 Grimes Rd. <br />Instrumentation Laboratory, Inc. for a special permit to erect a free- <br />standing <br />__ <br />standing sign in the front property at 113 Hartwell Ave. This sign in the <br />proposed location is considered necessary and essential for proper and <br />suitable identification of the new plant. <br />William & Iris Howard - Granted <br />Corazzini Bros. - Granted <br />Lexington Dfiving School - Denied <br />Augustus S.
