BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING <br />May 28, 1968 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />on Tuesday, May 28, 1968, at 7:30 p.m. in the Selectmen's Room, <br />Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular <br />members Dawes, Abbott, Wadsworth and associate member Emery. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Richard D. Hamilton for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning <br />By -Law in order to permit the operation of a real estate office in <br />the proposed addition to his residence at #2 Taft Ave., which is in <br />an R 2 district and adjacent to C 1 district. <br />Lexington -Electronic Realty Trust for a Finding & Determination <br />that the construction of a two-story 43,000 sq. ft. office building <br />to be occupied by Raytheon Education Company on an 11.28 acre parcel <br />of C 3 zoned land at 141 Spring St. will constitute a desirable de- <br />velopment not detrimental to the neighborhood and town. A variance <br />is requested from the 100 ft. required yard on Spring St. to 60 ft. <br />Harry B. and Kirsten D. Lee petition for a request for variance <br />so as to allow the maintenance of the dwelling at 108 Bertwell Rd. <br />and to allow the addition of a proposed sun porch which will have a <br />seven foot side line instead of the required ten feet. <br />Anthony G. and Patricia V. Sacco petition to vary the Lexington <br />Zoning By -Law in order to build an addition to residence at 23 Bridge <br />St. which would have insufficient side yard. <br />Supreme Council - Permission to use the house at 39 Marrett Rd. <br />as a headquarters building of the Supreme Council. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the above requests were discussed, and the following decisions <br />reached: <br />Richard D. Hamilton - denied <br />Lexington -Electronics Realty Trust - granted <br />Harry B. and Kirsten D. Lee - granted <br />Anthony G. and Patricia V.
