BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />November 21, 1967 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, November <br />21, 1967 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chair- <br />man Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Dawes, Sheldon, Wadsworth, and the <br />secretary, Mrs. Macomber. At 7:30 p.m. the hearings were called to order <br />as follows: <br />Norbert F. and Victoria M. Todtenkopf - to vary the Lexington Zoning <br />By -Law to permit the existing building at 59 Bridge Street to remain with <br />side yards of 7.2 feet and 7.1 feet respectively instead of the required 7.5 <br />feet. <br />Gerald W. Jones - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to main- <br />tain house at 5 Leroy Rd. one corner of which has 11 ft. side yard instead of <br />the required 12 ft., and to erect an addition one corner of which would have <br />7.8 ft. side yard instead of the required 12 ft. <br />John H. Bellinger - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to re- <br />construct a two -car garage at 922 Mass. Ave. approximately 5' from the side <br />lot line instead of the required 10'. <br />Raymond and Joan Bell - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to <br />maintain house at 20 Woodcliffe Rd. which has a 27' front setback and to <br />' erect a new entryway 5' x 8' which will not project any further than the <br />existing platform and steps but which has a front setback of 22 ft. instead <br />of the required 30 ft. <br />Pasquale P. Barbieri - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in order to <br />extend the existing automobile service facilities by adding a 50' extension <br />to existing building, plus 17 additional parking spaces, in rear of 153 <br />North St, at the southeasterly corner of Lowell St., 30 ft. of which would <br />extend into R 1 district. Also to vary the side yard requirement from 20' to <br />10', the Commonwealth of Massachusetts having taken this land for highway <br />purposes. <br />Lexington Trust Co. - for permission to hang a double face sign, 1'x3'10" <br />under the marquee at 42 Bedford St. at the shopping center known as "Lexing- <br />ton Plaza." <br />Dunfey-Lexington Trust - for a Finding and Determination on the site plan <br />accompanying petition for additions to the building and automobile parking <br />areas of the Sheraton -Lexington Motor Inn at 727 Marrett Road, Lexington. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during which the <br />following decisions were made: <br />Norbert F. and Victoria M. Todtenkppf - granted <br />Gerald W. Jones - granted <br />' John.H. Bellinger - granted <br />Raymond and Joan Bell - granted to maintain, denied to cover entryway. <br />Pasquale P. Barbieri - granted <br />
