BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />I <br />June 13, 1967 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, June <br />13, 1967. Present were Chairman Nickerson, members Dawes and Wadsworth, <br />associate members Morey and Blaisdell, and the secretary, Mrs. Macomber. At <br />7:30 p.m. the hearings were called to order, as follows: <br />Ralph H. Hall - to vary the Zoning By -Law in order to relocate lot <br />line at 75 Hancock St. which will result in Lot 1 having an area of 6,400 <br />sq.ft. instead of the required 15,500 sq.ft. and frontage of 48 ft. instead <br />of the required 125 ft. <br />Harry Knight - to vary the Sign By -Law in order to erect a sign approx. <br />3-1/2 ft. x 7 ft. on property at 235 Bedford St. <br />Carmine and Rose Ciriella - to vary the Lexington Zoning By -Law in <br />order to divide Lot E at 4 Stedman Rd. into two lots, neither of which would <br />have the required frontage or area; namely, each would have 87.75 ft, frontage <br />instead of the required 150 ft. and 15,113 sq.ft. area instead of the required <br />30,000 sq.ft. <br />David J. Myerson, M.D. - permission to use the finished basement space <br />at his home, 11 Moon Hill Rd., as a professional office. <br />Harvey W. NewXent - requested to vary the Sign By -Law in order to <br />erect a sign 20" high x 9' long on the second floor at 1762 Mass. Ave. which is <br />larger than that allowed. <br />Lexington Indoor Tennis Club Corp. - for permission to enlarge the club <br />house and to include a swimming pool on property located between numbers 459 <br />and 505 Bedford St. <br />Trustees, Hartwell -Lexington Trust - for a Finding and Determination <br />that a proposed 24,500 sq.ft. building located on a 5.8 acre lot, to be occupied <br />by Hewlitt-Packard Co. and located on the southeasterly side of Hartwell Ave. <br />and on the southwesterly side of Hinchey Rd. will constitute a suitable develop- <br />ment and will not result in substantial detriment to the neighborhood. <br />/Prank E. Bateman for permission to use property at the corner of Marrett <br />Rd. and Lincoln St. as a Home Decorating Center to conduct classes in home <br />decorating for not more than 15 homemakers at a session; to maintain displays of <br />materials available to decorate a home interior; to obtain and sell textbooks <br />supplies and hardware necessary; and to provide professional decorating services. <br />No manufacturing will be done on the premises. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during which the <br />following decisions were made: <br />Ralph H. Hall - granted <br />' Harry Knight - denied <br />Carmine and Rose Ciriella - denied <br />David -J. Myerson, M.D. - denied <br />
