BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />1 November 15, 1966 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />November 15, 1966, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. <br />Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Wadsworth and Sheldon, <br />associate members Morey and Farwell, and the secretary, Mrs. Macomber. <br />The chairman called the hearings to order at 7:30 p.m. as <br />follows: <br />Amicon Corporation (C.C.S F.) - for a Finding and Determination <br />that a proposed 25,400 sq.ft. building located on a 4.18 acre lot on <br />the northwest side of Hartwell Ave. and on the southeast side of West- <br />view St, and bounded on the northeast by a 5.25 acre lot owned by the <br />Trustees of the Hartwell Lexington Trust, will constitute a suitable <br />development and will not result in substantial detriment to the neigh- <br />borhood. <br />M.I.T., Lincoln Laboratory - permission to build or assemble a <br />temporary one-story, wood frame or prefabricated wood or metal shelter, <br />approximately 50 ft. x 50 ft. upon its property located at 238 Wood St., <br />Lexington. The front set -back to be approximately 900 feet west of Wood <br />St. with back and side lot set -backs each approximately 50 ft. minimum <br />from property of the U.S. Dept. of Defense. The estimated time of use <br />' would be one year. <br />Ernest E. Outhet - permission to subdivide a parcel of land <br />containing 15.1 acres, more or less, located at 189 Wood St., into lots <br />of not less than 20,000 sq.ft. and having a frontage of not less than <br />120 ft. each in accordance with Sec.8(a)2.f. of the Lexington Zoning <br />By -Law. <br />Richard J. Lawless - President of Lawless -Mawhinney Motors, Inc. - <br />to replace, under the Sign By -Law, the existing American Gas identifica- <br />tion sign with a new Chrysler Corp. identification sign, at 581 Marrett <br />Road. <br />Following the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were rendered: <br />Amicon Corp - Granted <br />M.I.T., Lincoln Laboratory - Granted, structure to be removed <br />within one year. <br />Ernest E. Outhet - granted <br />Richard J. Lawless - Granted <br />All pertinent material is on file in each individual folder. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br />
