1 <br />r <br />L <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />July 5, 1966 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, <br />July 5, 1966, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present <br />were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Hoyt, Abbott, Wadsworth, and <br />associate member Morey, also the secretary Mrs. Macomber. Hearings <br />were called to order at 7:30 as follows: <br />Anthony Cataldo - permission to continue to process, warehouse <br />and sell vegetables at 1265 Massachusetts Ave. <br />Hartwell -Lexington Trust - for a Finding and Determination that <br />a proposed 30,000 sq.ft. building located on a 5.25 acre lot located on <br />the northwest side of Hartwell Ave. and on the southwesterly side of <br />Westview St., all as shown on plans submitted, will constitute a suit- <br />able development and will not result in substantial detriment to the <br />neighborhood. <br />Massachusetts CUNA Association, Inc. - to vary the Zoning By -Law <br />fin order to erect a one-story building at 267 Lincoln St. as an office <br />for Massachusetts CUNA Association, Inc. which is the Credit Union Organ- <br />ization in Massachusetts. No variance is asked for except for use in a <br />CN district. <br />Edward F. Cataldo - for permission to include a small undenomina- <br />tional chapel, 24 ft. x 27 ft., on the northerly side of proposed wing <br />to Pine Crest Nursing Home at 30 Watertown St., permission for which <br />was granted Dec. 7, 1965. <br />Maurice and Raquel Sussman - to vary the Zoning By -Law in order <br />to build an addition on existing house at 34 Barberry Rd., one corner <br />of which will have 22.5 ft, front setback instead of the required 30 ft. <br />Morton A. Madoff - to vary the Zoning By -Law in order to construct <br />an addition, consisting of an entrance hallway and living room, to the <br />residence at 27 Normandy Rd., which would have a 13'4" side yard instead <br />of the required 15 ft. <br />Katherine J. Marotto - to vary the Zoning By -Law in order to <br />erect a swimming pool at 5 Parker St. which will have 10 ft. rear yard <br />instead of the required 15 ft. <br />Thomas F. Scanlan and Edward P. Kavanagh - to vary the Zoning By - <br />Law in order to erect a single family dwelling at 68 Blake Rd. which <br />would have insufficient frontage and area. <br />Robert 0. Tillinghast - for permission to use the first floor at <br />183 Bedford St. as a dentist's office, and to convert the second floor <br />front, and the second floor rear and third floor into two apartments, with <br />outside staircase to third floor. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were made: <br />
