BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />June 8, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals Was held on <br />Tuesday, June 8, 1965, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, <br />Lexington, Mass. Present were Chairman Nickerson, member Abbott, and <br />associate members Morey, Dawes and Hamilton. <br />At 7:30 p.m. the following hearings were declared open: <br />John A. Hutchins - to vary the Zoning By-law in order to erect a <br />porch at I Leroy W70ich would have a 16-1/2 ft. side yard instead of <br />the required 20 ft. <br />J. J. Buss - to vary the Zoning By-law in order to build an ex- <br />tension to presen ansa at 43 Peacock Farm Rd., consisting of a carport <br />and an extra room, the roof overhang of which would result in a 12 ft. side - <br />yard instead of the required 15 ft. <br />Malcolm R. and Jean Y. Gavin - to vary the Zoning By-law in order <br />to erect an addition to the ae o their home at 24 Normandy Rd. which <br />would have a 29.4 ft. setback instead of the required 30 ft., to be in <br />line with the existing building. <br />I <br />Leonard Crafts - to vary the Zoning By-law in order to erect an <br />addition o house ay -5 Munroe Rd. which would have a 27 ft. setback in- <br />stead of the required 30 ft. <br />Mrs. Eleanor Russe - to vary the Zoning By-law in order to make a <br />one -car a3dition to axis ing garage at 32 Whipple Rd. which would have a <br />23 ft. setback instead of the required 30 ft. and a 12 ft. sideyard in- <br />stead of the required 15 ft. <br />Richard J. Foley - to vary the Zoning By-law in order to construct a <br />swimming non ft. from the rear lot line at #5 Viles Rd. instead of the <br />required 15 ft. <br />Owen S. Laf�le - permission to alter existing service station at <br />25-27Mass.Ave. y—addition of new service bay with dimensions of 1718" <br />x 50' in length, as outlined on accompanying plot plan. <br />1775 House Inc.,- permission to lease the building and property <br />located at 130 Pleasant St., Lexington, to the Lexington Montessori School <br />Inc. for purposes of conducting a nursery school. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />John A.
