BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' April 27, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, April 27, 1965, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, <br />Lexington, Mass. Present were Chairman Nickerson, members Ripley and <br />Wadsworth, and associate members Hamilton and Duffy. <br />At 7:30 p.m. the following hearings were heard: <br />Temple Emunah - request permission to erect a lighted standing <br />sign of approximately six sq. ft. in an area to be located on the <br />property of Temple Emunah at Blossom St. <br />Christopher J. Cammarata - request permission to vary the zoning <br />by-law in order to erect a fres standing sign approximately 14 ft. high <br />by 4 ft. wide at 334 Woburn St. <br />Jack Sarnessian - request to vary the zoning by-law in order to <br />divide the lot at 14 —Lowell St. into two lots, one of which would have <br />108 ft. frontage instead of the required 150 ft., and to permit a house <br />to be built thereon. <br />Harold Millican - request for permission to erect pool enclosure <br />41'4" wide by t' ng, to be constructed over present swimming pool at <br />90 Hancock St. <br />John Modoono (Highland Farm) - request permission to (1) erect an <br />awning across the front of the building to cover the area over cement <br />apron, approximately 10 ft. x 40 ft. (2) erect a conservatory on the east <br />side of building approximately 12 ft. x 30 ft. (3) open Sundays from <br />10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />Public Facilities and Information Building Committee - to vary the <br />building by-laws under Art. 17, Sec. 1, in order to su statute wood cedar <br />shingles on roof of proposed Town of Lexington Public Facilities Building <br />instead of fire resisting materials as required. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Temple Emunah - granted, subject to the condition that the sign will <br />be lighted only when the building is in general use, or until one a.m. and <br />would be non -flashing; and that the permit shall expire on May 1, 1967. <br />Christopher J. Cammarata - denied <br />Jack Sarnessian - denied <br />Harold Millican - granted subject to the following conditions: 1. The <br />building shall be kept locked at all times when not in use; 2. the pool shall <br />' not be used except with adult supervision; 3. the lighting at night shall not <br />be objectionable to neighbors nor at late hours; h. the permission will expire <br />if construction is not started by May 3, 1966. <br />
