BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' March 30, 1965 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held in <br />the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, Marsh 30, 1965. <br />Chairman Nickerson opened the hearings at 7:30 P.M. with members <br />Hoyt, Ripley and Wadsworth, and assoc. member Morey present. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Evangelical Covenant Church - request to vary the zoning by-law in <br />order to Subdivide a portion of Me Church's property in such a manner that <br />one lot will not have the required frontage on Allen Street; or alternately <br />that the division would be made so that each lot would have slightly less <br />than the required 150 dt. frontage, but sufficient area. <br />Evangelical Covenant Church - request to vary the zoning by-law in <br />order to erect a steeple on its new building at 50 Allen St. which would <br />be 90 ft. high instead of the permitted 65 ft. <br />E. L. Sharkey - permission to continue the use and extend for two <br />years,ebeginnTing March 30, 1965, of the premises known as Lot #11, 16 <br />Hazel Road, Lexington, as the site of microwave transmitting equipment, in- <br />cluding specifically a long-range calibration unit. <br />William A. Oliver - request to vary the zoning by-law in order to <br />erect a garage a School St. which would result in a 6 ft. instead of a <br />10 -ft. side yard as permitted. <br />George L. Doherty'- request to vary the zoning by-law in order to <br />erect a porch at 102 Sc ool St. which would result in an 8-1/2 ft. side <br />yard instead of the permitted 10 ft. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Evangelical Covenant Church - granted <br />Evangelical Covenant Church - granted <br />E. L. Sharkey - granted <br />William A. Oliver - -ranted <br />George L.
