BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS ' October 13, 1964 A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, October 13, 1964, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Hoyt, Ripley and Wadsworth and associate member Farwell. The following petitions were heard: Colonial Contractors & Builders Inc. for permission to vary the Lexington Zo By- w order to erect a single family dwell- ing located at 111 Kendall Rd. one corner of which would have a 13 ft. side yard instead of the required 15 ft. Robert F. Strong for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law mer to construct a one -car garage in the rear of 11 Manning St. which would have a 2 ft. side yard instead of the required 12 ft. Dr. Arthur J. Schramm for permission to vary the Lexington Zon- ing BY-U_w_S_or_d_er_To`"e`rec an 8 ft. x 10 ft. "Walpole Small Build- ing" 7-1/2 ft. from back property line instead f the required 15 ft. on lot 116, 16 Buckman Drive. George Morey Jr. for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order to off gravel ridges and knolls, remove gravel, regrade land and replant with evergreens on property at 49 Ridge Rd. Harve W. New ent for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning By-law in order to divide a lot of land at Reed St. and Augustus Rd. into two parcels, one of which would contain 10,500 sq.ft. area and the other 11,380 sq.ft. area. At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- ing which the above requests were discussed, and the following decisions reached: Colonial Contractors & Builders, Inc. - granted unanimously Robert F. Strong - denied unanimously Dr. Arthur J. Schramm - denied unanimously George Morey Jr. - denied unanimously Harvey W. Newgent - denied.unanimously At this time a letter was read from William L. and Greta W. Bitzer of 10 Grassland St. requesting a reconsideration of the Board of Appeals decision on their petition of Oct. 22, 1963. Mr. Nickerson stated he would reply advising Mr. and Mrs. Bitzer that they might reapply if they so desired, but that unless they had some changes made in their .plans it would be unlikely that the Board would change its opinion.
