BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' October 13, 1964 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />on Tuesday, October 13, 1964, in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office <br />Building. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Hoyt, <br />Ripley and Wadsworth and associate member Farwell. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Colonial Contractors & Builders Inc. for permission to vary <br />the Lexington Zo By- w order to erect a single family dwell- <br />ing located at 111 Kendall Rd. one corner of which would have a 13 ft. <br />side yard instead of the required 15 ft. <br />Robert F. Strong for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning <br />By-law mer to construct a one -car garage in the rear of 11 <br />Manning St. which would have a 2 ft. side yard instead of the required <br />12 ft. <br />Dr. Arthur J. Schramm for permission to vary the Lexington Zon- <br />ing BY-U_w_S_or_d_er_To`"e`rec an 8 ft. x 10 ft. "Walpole Small Build- <br />ing" 7-1/2 ft. from back property line instead f the required 15 ft. <br />on lot 116, 16 Buckman Drive. <br />George Morey Jr. for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning <br />By-law in order to off gravel ridges and knolls, remove gravel, <br />regrade land and replant with evergreens on property at 49 Ridge Rd. <br />Harve W. New ent for permission to vary the Lexington Zoning <br />By-law in order to divide a lot of land at Reed St. and Augustus <br />Rd. into two parcels, one of which would contain 10,500 sq.ft. area <br />and the other 11,380 sq.ft. area. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- <br />ing which the above requests were discussed, and the following decisions <br />reached: <br />Colonial Contractors & Builders, Inc. - granted unanimously <br />Robert F. Strong - denied unanimously <br />Dr. Arthur J. Schramm - denied unanimously <br />George Morey Jr. - denied unanimously <br />Harvey W. Newgent - denied.unanimously <br />At this time a letter was read from William L. and Greta W. <br />Bitzer of 10 Grassland St. requesting a reconsideration of the Board <br />of Appeals decision on their petition of Oct. 22, 1963. Mr. Nickerson <br />stated he would reply advising Mr. and Mrs. Bitzer that they might <br />reapply if they so desired, but that unless they had some changes made <br />in their .plans it would be unlikely that the Board would change its <br />opinion. <br />
