BQARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />I <br />December 4, 1962 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held on <br />Tuesday, December 4, 1962 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. <br />Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Abbott, Hoyt, Ripley <br />and Wadsworth. <br />The following petitions were heard: <br />Mr. and Mrs. Calvin H. Branford - permission to maintain single <br />family residence at 2416 Mass. Ave. which would have an 8 ft. side yard <br />on the east side of the house instead of the 10 ft. required. <br />Mr. and Mrs. William G. Ryan - permission to maintain single fam- <br />ily residence at 2US Mass. Ave. which would have a side yard of only 8 ft. <br />instead of the required 10 ft. on the west side. <br />MIT -Lincoln Laboratory - permission to vary building by-law in <br />oraer to erect a meta rame building, 1401 x 801, at 238 Wood St. <br />Mrs. Mary Walsh - permission to build a second addition to Fair- <br />lawn Nursing Home, 265 Lowell St., which would be second-class construction. <br />' Anthony Joseph Busa - permission to sell Christmas trees and wreaths <br />at 52 Lowell St. fFom December 5 to December 25, 1962. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Mr. and Mrs. Calvin H. Branford - granted <br />Mr. and Mrs. William G. Ryan - granted <br />MIT -Lincoln Laboratory - granted <br />Mrs. Mary Walsh - granted <br />Anthony Joseph Busa - granted <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on file <br />under the name of each petitioner. <br />Ruth C.
