'4 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />' October 24, 1961 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Board of Appeals was held <br />in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, October 24, <br />1961. Present were Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ripley, Ballard, <br />Emery, and associate member Norris. At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared <br />open upon the following petitions: <br />Lorraine Miller Clifford - to build kitchenette and bath into <br />present house at 523 Lowellorder to make "mother-in-law" suite. <br />The Lexington Motor Inn Inc. - to erect directional standing <br />sign at Routes an , ft. from Rte. 128 on property owned <br />by The Lexington Motor Inn, Inc.; and also to add word "Motor" to exist- <br />ing sign on roof of Inn so as to read "Lexington Motor Inn.f' <br />Robert W. Cloud - to build an underground fall -out shelter at <br />18 Hastinā€”gs IR7 w c would come within 4 ft. of the side boundary line <br />Carlisle L. Dieter - to erect lean-to greenhouse attached to <br />rear of dw ing a East St. <br />Lexington Upholsterer's - to erect two directional signs flat <br />' against the wall on y Muzzey St., one sign 23" x 30" on the left end of <br />the front of the building, and one sign 30" x 36" on the left and of <br />the right side of the building. <br />Louise T. Cavalieri - to make an addition to present building <br />at 272 Lowell St. w is wou d not have sufficient side yard. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held <br />during which the following decisions were reached: <br />Lorraine Miller Clifford - denied <br />The Lexington Motor Inn, Inc. - granted <br />Robert W. Cloud - granted <br />Carlisle L. Dieter - granted <br />Lexington Upholsterer's - granted <br />Louise T.
