BOARD OF APPEALS HFATRLNGS <br />' June 27, 1961 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Tarn Office Building, on Tuesday, June 27, 1961. Present were <br />Chairman Nickerson, regular members Ballard, Ripley and Redman, and <br />associate member Tucker: At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared open upon <br />the following petitions: <br />Dr. David L. Singer - to rent a suite from Mrs. John P. Whalen, <br />11 Harring on . or a practice of internal medicine from September <br />11 1961 through March 1962. <br />Howard W. Foley - to practice optometry at his residence at 5 <br />Harrington Rd. -- <br />Mrs. Bernard Esecson - to build an addition to existing dwell- <br />ing at 10 Mike Rd. which would result in insufficient side yard. <br />Colonial Gara a Inc. - to install in the place of the present <br />flashing sign as new double-faced., single sheet, porcelain enamel sign <br />at 1668 Mass. Ave. <br />Frederick Rodd - to sell Christmas trees and wreaths at 764 <br />Mass. Ave. fromDecemMer 8 through Dec. 23, 1961, proceeds going to the <br />Follen Church. <br />Esso Standard Oil Co. - to maintain a free standing sign (Esso <br />Oval) at Wo S . <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- <br />ing which the following decisions were reachedi <br />Dr. David L. Singer - denied <br />Howard W. Foley - denied <br />Mrs. Bernard Esecson - granted <br />Colonial Garage, Inc. - granted <br />Frederick Rodd - granted <br />Esso Standard Oil Co. - granted <br />All pertinent material with regard to the above petitions is on <br />file in each individual folder. <br />Ruth C.
