1 <br />1 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEAFaNGS <br />March 28, 1961 <br />The Board of Appeals held a regular meeting in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, on Tuesday, March 28, 1961. Present were <br />Chairman Nickerson, regular members Emery, Ballard and Ripley, and asso- <br />ciate member Duffy. At 7:30 p.m. hearings were declared open upeni the <br />following petitions: <br />Harold C. Currier Jr. - to operate a retail specialty and <br />building materia! siness at 394 Lowell St. <br />Mary D. Guarino - to install a fire escape at the Carriage <br />House Restaurant, 271Lincoln St., in place of a second interior stair- <br />way. <br />Lexington Coal & Oil Corp. - to remove existing coal sheds and <br />garage and to erect a garage and storage building in other locations <br />on the premises at 242 Bedford St. <br />Albert W. Hanlon - to maintain the two dwellings at 33 and 24 <br />Fletcher Ave. and to su ivide the one lot now containing these two <br />houses into two lots, each containing one house, according to plans <br />submitted. House at 22 Fletcher Ave. would not have sufficient area, <br />frontage or side yards. House at 24 Fletcher Ave. would not have suf- <br />ficient area, frontage, setback or side yards. <br />Torsten H. Reenstierna - for approval under Sec. 5(g) 1. of the <br />Zoning By-law of the Town of Lexington , as shown on plans filed with <br />the Board of Appeals and being the major portion of the area set forth <br />in See. 4(g) 4. of said by-law; and also approval of site plan, plans <br />and building designs filed in accordance with the provisions of Sec.5 <br />(g)A-1 districts 1 and 5 of said by-law. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held <br />during which the following decisions were reached: <br />Harold C. Currier - granted <br />Mary D. Guarino - granted <br />Lexington Coal & Oil Corp. - granted <br />Albert W. Hanlon - granted <br />Torsten H.
