BOARD OF AFFU S HURINOS <br />March 12, 1957 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, March 12, <br />1957 in the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. hear- <br />ings were declared open on the following petitions: <br />Auto Engineering, Inc. - to erect a pole and cross mast for the <br />purpose of ging 'tido douole faced signs, approx. 41" by 386, located <br />at 436 Marrett Rd. <br />John F. MacNeil - to further vary the Lexington Zoning By-law, <br />Sec. c) C.2. disT77ets a (1) pertaining to the twenty foot side yards <br />of C 2 land that abuts R 1 land of the premises awned by John F. Mac- <br />Neil and to vary Sec. 8(c)a.(2) pertaining to the ten foot rear yard, <br />both in accordance with the plan submitted, situated off Depot Sq. Said <br />land is bounded`"northerly and easterly by land of Boston & Maine RR; <br />southerly by Depot Sq. and a right-of-way; westerly by land now of Smith. <br />Daniel & Eleanor M. Curtin - to erect, construct and maintain a <br />retail. gasoline, oil and grecs g station and place of business for the <br />sale and installation of tires and other automobile accessories on lots <br />230A and 230B, being numbered 434 Marrett Rd., and for the purpose of <br />ingress and egress to use in common with others a small triangular <br />' parcel of lot 231 on a plan entitled "Farmerest Sec -4, Lexington, Mass." <br />provided petitioners obtain a transfer of the "gasoline storage" license <br />issued in accordance with the provisions of General Laws, Chap.148, from <br />its present location at 435 Marrett Rd. (approx. across the street from <br />locus) to lots 2301 and 2308. <br />Ha M.
