9 <br />BOARD OF APPFAI.S HE LEMIGS <br />April 17, 1956 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Tuesday, April 17, <br />1956 in the Selectmen's Room, Torn Office Building. At 8:00 p.m. <br />hearings were declared upon upon the following petitions: <br />Antonio Buse - to continne'the construction of a house at 7 Cum- <br />mings ve. w a setback from the street of 26 feet instead of the <br />30 ft. required. <br />Alfred Antonelli - to continue with the construction of a house <br />at 9 Cummings Ave. Rth a set back from the street of 2512" instead <br />of the 30 ft. required. <br />Richard W. ld lander - to make an addition to his house at 15 Has- <br />kell St. which would a side yard on Crescent Hill Ave. of 14 ft. <br />instead of the required 20 ft. <br />Wilson Farm, Inc. - to erect a greenhouse, work room and boiler <br />room 3V x 34.11M on their property adjacent to 6 Pleasant St. which <br />building would be made of aluminum and glass in the case of the green- <br />house, and concrete blocks in the case of the heater room, to be <br />located approx. 110 ft. from Pleasant St. and 50 ft. from the back of <br />' the present roadside stand. <br />Frank A. Yeomans - to erect an addition to a non -conforming dwell- <br />ing at 14 Parker 3U.—to be carried along the front of the building in <br />line with the present bay window, which would be demolished, and to ex- <br />tend to a point 12 ft. from the body of the building towards Mass. Ave. <br />which would make a side yard of 16 feet between it and the next propert <br />line, substantially in accordance with plot plan submitted. <br />Mass. Inst. of Technology - to erect and maintain a galvanised <br />steel buijLding as per drawings submitted, at the MILT. Field Station <br />at 238 Wood St. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- <br />ing which the following decisions were reached: <br />Antonio Buss - granted <br />Alfred Antonelli - granted <br />Richard W. Hylander - granted <br />Wilson Farm, Inc - granted <br />Frank A. Yeomans - granted, subject to the condition that the <br />steps and the platform will not encroach more than 3 ft, into the front <br />yard of 20 ft. <br />Mass.
