47 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />1 June 16, 1955 <br />.A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, -Town Office Building, Tuesday, June 16, 1955. <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />Henry A. McLaughlin - to erect a single family dwelling on an area <br />made up Ty -comm ning Lots -Nos. 244 to 248 inclusive located at 40 Wood <br />St. <br />William Hardy'- to erect a standard Packard sign projecting from <br />the show room, provided the sign does not overhang either the sidewalk or, <br />the public way; also the erection of standing signs not larger than those <br />allowed by the Building By-laws. Said signs to be erected at 915 Waltham <br />Street. <br />Donald T. Hill - to erect an open porch 19' x 16' attached to the <br />rear oftt e1ingle Tamily dwelling now situated at 38 Burlington St., said <br />porch to be covered by an aluminum roof provided that the metal is painted <br />so as to eliminate the reflection of glare. <br />George F. McCormack - to erect a single family dwelling on Lot C <br />numbered ayes Lane. <br />H. Edward King - to erect a garage at 70 Harding Rd. <br />Margaret M. Maynard - to sell African violets grown on the premises <br />at 6 Grove St. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were made: <br />Henry A. McLaughlin - granted <br />William Hardy - granted <br />Donald T. Hill - granted <br />George IM.McCormack - granted <br />H. Edward King - granted, providing it is set back not less than 20 £t. <br />from Williams Rd. and that the requirements of side yards and rear yards <br />are complied with. <br />Margaret M.
