33 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />March 17, 1955 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, March 17, 1955 <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />William Berube - to subdivide parcel of land at 581 Lowell St. <br />into two o s, eacfi of which would have a frontage less than the require- <br />ments of the Lexington Zoning By-law. <br />Esso Standard Oil Co. - to enlarge the present service station and <br />lubritorium at 10 Woburnt. substantially in accordance with the plans <br />submitted. <br />John C. Harkness - to erect an addition to the existing dwelling <br />at 34 Moon Hill Rdw ich would be 21 feet from the street line at its <br />nearest point; and to use, in connection with this addition, the Van Packer <br />chimney. <br />Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints - to erect a sign approxi- <br />mately 3 ft. by b ft. at 1306 Mass. Ave. on Me church property. <br />Lloyd H. Miller - to continue the operation of roadside stand at <br />973 Conco d Turn�e: <br />Louis Rosendorn - to erect a single family dwelling on each of <br />Lots "A", "B" and "C" with a set back on each lot of not less than 20 ft. <br />from the frontage street. Lots "A" and "B" being located on Cliffe Ave. <br />and Lot "C" on Fottler Ave. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held at which <br />the following decisions were reached: <br />William Berube - denied <br />Esso Standard Oil Co - granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) that the new concrete ramp at the easterly corner of the premises <br />shall be so located as to make unnecessary removal of the 36 inch tree on <br />Woburn St. (2) That the present ramp furthest from Fletcher Ave. shall be <br />removed. Curbing shall be placed along the entire Woburn St. front except <br />for the entrances, and sidewalk and grass plot shall be provided for also <br />along the entire Woburn St. frontage, except for the entrances. (3) That <br />no wrecked automobiles shall be stored in the increased area easterly of <br />the lubritorium. (4) The premises shall be kept in a neat and orderly con- <br />dition at all times. <br />I <br />John C.
