M <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />February 24, 1955 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, February 24, 1955• <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />Frederick L. Yeomans - to divide a parcel of land at the west- <br />erly end of Columbus St. and to erect a single family dwelling on <br />Lot "A". <br />George E. Smith - to erect a building of second-class construc- <br />tion, stant.ially as located on the plot plan submitted, for the pur- <br />pose of using a portion of the building as an office of a builder and <br />for the storage of building supplies; and the other portion for the <br />storage and distribution of newspapers, and for materials and supplies <br />used by the petitioner in his business. <br />William H. Marshall - to use the land and the buildings there <br />numbered 315 to 319 Marrett Road, as "place of business of a baker." <br />Frank E. Dea - to change the existing lot line between lots 16 <br />' and 17 numbered r -T red 13and 110 Pleasant St. <br />Walter C. Boone - to maintain an office for the practice of <br />chiropody at h1s rest ence 112 Bedford St. <br />Mass. Institute of Technology - to erect a steel building at 238 <br />Wood St. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Frederick L. Yeomans - Denied <br />George E. Smith - granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) that no supplies or materials of any kind shall be stored <br />outside the building. (2) that no mill work of any description shall be <br />performed on the premises. Said building to be located at rear of 10 <br />Muzzey St. <br />William H. Marshall - granted, subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) that all objectional odors shall be controlled and eliminated as far <br />as possible. (2) that all signs on the premises shall conform with the <br />Town of Lexington By-laws. (3) that there shall be noflood lighting of <br />the premises. (4) that the retail business shall not be operated on 3ua- <br />days. (5) that the cars of employees shall be parked in the rear of the <br />' building. <br />Frank E. Dea - Granted <br />
