BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />October 14, 1954 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Tuesday, October 14, 1954 <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />Russell S. Davenport - to erect a flower room addition 26' x <br />30' tote existing greenhouse at 482 Bedford St. <br />George E. Stone - to erect a sign on his dwelling at 2287 Mass. <br />Ave., bearing a word "Insurance." <br />William H. Sullivan - to erect single family dwellings on Lots <br />32 and 39 HillcrestSt. <br />Lexington Methodist Church - to erect two signs, one 4'x6' and <br />one 41x61 approximately 3n the locations shown on the sketch submitted, <br />both to be set back not less than 25 feet from the street lines. <br />Mrs. HarrW. Cram Jr. - to operate a primary school for not <br />more thanten c tween the ages of 2 and 5-1/2 years at #759 <br />Waltham St., five days a week from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. <br />Wilson Farm Inc. - to continue to operate roadside stand adjacent <br />to #6 Pleasant St. <br />William Graham.Jr_. - to operate a funeral home on the premises <br />numbered ass. Ave. <br />At the close of the hearings an executive session was held dur- <br />ing which the following decisions were reached: <br />Muriel C. Stone, Clerk <br />Russell S. Davenport - Granted <br />George E. Stone - Denied <br />William H. Sullivan - Denied <br />Lexington Methodist Church - Granted -subject to the condition that <br />the signs are to be removed not later than November 1, 1956. <br />Mrs. Harry W. Cram Jr. - Granted -subject to the following condi- <br />tions: 1. That the school shall be operated only during the usual school <br />year; 2. That the outside play area shall be enclosed by a satisfactory <br />fence; 3. That the children shall be properly supervised at all times; <br />4. That this permit shall expire September 30, 1955 <br />Wilson Farm Inc. - Granted -subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the premises shall at all times be kept in a neat and orderly <br />condition; 2. That no cars shall be allowed to park on Pleasant St.; 3. <br />That no floodlights shall be installed; 4. That only vegetables, fruit <br />and poultry products grown on the land of the petitioner that is within <br />the Town shall be sold; 5.
