287 <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEAMGS <br />' March 25, 1954 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on March 25, 1954. <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open on the following peti- <br />tions: <br />Warren E. Russell'- to use a portion of the building located at 1505 <br />Mass. Ave., known as a Russell House, for the purpose of conducting a <br />Real Estate and Insurance business. <br />John F. O'Connor - to use the premises located in a C 1 district at <br />271 Lincoln St. for a purpose of storing and selling petroleum products <br />and inflammable fluids, lubricating, washing and tuning of motor vehicles, <br />selling and installation of tires, batteries and other automobile accessories. <br />Mary Pestana - to erect a toolhouse not larger than 10' x 8' and <br />located at the rear of lot 89 on Theresa Ave., but not closer than five feet <br />from the side line and the rear line. <br />William L. Hench - to erect a single family dwelling on lot 10 <br />numbered 6 CastleRT.-,substantially in accordance with the plot plan sub- <br />mitted. <br />Ralph B. Witthus - to maintain the dwelling at 503 Lowell St. in <br />accordance with e pi-ot pi-oplan submitted. <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Warren E. Russell - Denied <br />John F. O'Connor - Denied <br />Mary Pestana - Granted <br />William L Hench - Granted <br />Ralph B Witthus - Granted <br />Muriel C. Stone <br />Clerk <br />
