BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />I <br />November 19, 1953 <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on November 19, 1953• <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />petitions: <br />N:E.Tel. & Tel. Co. - to erect a Dial Telephone Exchange build- <br />ing ot firstc ss cons ruction on the premises at #73 Waltham St., <br />substantially in accordance with the plot plan submitted. <br />DeScenza'Associates - to attach a chimney to the outside of the <br />building at #20 HomesteaZSt. <br />William Mara - to erect a single family dwelling and garage at 51 <br />Williams is <br />Mrs. J. R. Carpenter - to do portrait photography in her home at <br />53 Colony Rd. <br />Mass. Inst. of Technology - to maintain temporary tower at the <br />Field Station #2111 WoodSt. <br />Peter J. Ronchetti - to erect a two -car garage at 193 Blossom <br />St. which will have a side yard of approx. 7 ft. and be set back <br />approx. 100 ft. from Blossom St. <br />Peter Penta - to erect a single family dwelling on Lots 95 and 96 <br />Albermar—Se�- <br />At the close of the hearings an Executive Session was held dur- <br />ing which the following decisions were reached: <br />N.E.Tel. & Tel. Co. - Granted <br />DeScenza Associates - Granted <br />William Mara - Granted <br />Mrs. J. R. Carpenter - Granted subject to the condition that no <br />signs shall be erected. <br />Mass. Inst. of Technology - Granted subject to the condition that <br />the tower shall be dismantled and removed not later than November 1,1956. <br />Peter J.
