261. <br />BOARD OF APPEALS HEARINGS <br />October 15, 1953 <br />Muriel C. Stone, Clerk <br />A meeting of the Board of Appeals was held in the Selectmen's <br />Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, on October 15, 1953• <br />At 8:00 p.m. hearings were declared open upon the following <br />�etitigns: <br />Hildreth Motors - to erect two illuminated signs, each on poles <br />approx. 5 goon the premises at 34 Bedford St. <br />Alice M. Reardon - to erect a garage on Lot #165 Tarbell Ave. <br />Robert E. Doran - to remove and sell excess gravel and fill from <br />the premises�at 155 East St. <br />Dr. Howard A. Smith - to erect and maintain a Veterinarian's <br />office and AnimalHospital at #476 Bedford St. <br />Nancy C. Schock - to operate a nursery school for not more than <br />ten children aged to five years, four mornings a week from <br />October through May at 15 Vaille Ave. <br />' <br />John H. Millican Jr. - to erect a conservatory 20' x 30' attached <br />to the rear or the garage at 90B Hancock St. <br />Wilson Farm - to continue to operate roadside stand adjacent to <br />#6 Pleasan- <br />Following the hearings an Executive Session was held during <br />which the following decisions were reached: <br />Hildreth Motors - Denied. <br />Alice M. Reardon - Granted <br />Robert E. Doran - Granted subject to the condition that no top- <br />soil shall be removed from the premises but shall be replaced all over <br />the excavated area. <br />Dr. Howard A. Smith - Granted subject to the condition that no <br />outside yards or runways shall be constructed. <br />Nancy C. Schock - Granted subject to the following conditions: 1) <br />that the Permit shall expire June 1, 1954; 2) That the children shall <br />be properly supervised at all times, both inside and outside the build- <br />ing; 3) that one assistant shall be employed. <br />John H. Millican, Jr. - Granted <br />Wilson Farm - Granted subject to the following conditions: 1) <br />the premises shall at all times be kept in a neat and orderly condition; <br />2) no cars shall be allowed to park on Pleasant St., 3) no floodlights <br />shall be installed; 4) that only vegetables, fruits and poultry products <br />' <br />grown on the land of the petitioner that is within the Town shall be <br />sold; 5) This permit shall expire October 23, 1954. <br />Muriel C.
